Would gladly stay there again if it was a bit cheaper. Spectacular views yet kinda distracting when happy valley isn’t looking so happy anymore. Nothing to complain about except price.

But for the price I expected much better. Carla, who was friendly to begin with, was muddled and complicated. I received - without asking - many (too many) messages, in particular about how to get to the AirBnb. Furthermore Carla woke me up at 7:30 am to ask if I was going to stay another night. Inappropriate and disturbing. I decided not to extend my stay as the jacuzzi was not heated enough (33 C in the evening with wind and rain - 27 C in the morning). The sofa is old and uncomfortable. The decoration is dated.
I also found it inappropriate to have to pay the cleaning costs again if I stayed longer. It took a long time for Carla to make a commercial gesture that seemed to go without saying. In short, an 'overrated' place

  The view was amazing and it was such a cosy space. With a wonderful balcony to have breakfast overlooking the lagoon. Very tastefully decorated and well equipped.
Self check-in... read more was super easy with very clear instructions including photos from Carla. She does also offer to meet you for check-in, but we weren’t too sure of our arrival time. And she even provides an online welcome booklet with recommendations once you make the booking :)
Loved our stay there and wish we could have spent another night.

She was super sweet and very helpful. The information for self check-in was easy to follow, she provided us with tips for restaurants and things to do in Knysna and offered to be there if there were any questions. I can’t stress enough how amazed we were by that stay. 10/10 experience, can definitely recommend and I hope we’ll come back one day.

Diese Unterkunft muss man buchen wenn man in Knysna ist, man wird es definitiv nicht bereuen und mit Begeisterung feststellen, in was für einem Traum man sich befindet.
